Comes with rice.
Inspired by India`s eclectic street food.
Entrees come with rice or naan and a small side of curry sauce.
With its new location in midtown, Brick Lane Curry House differentiates itself from its neighbors with a bit more flash and an English-Indian menu. The bright purple fluorescent sign announcing the restaurant's name is a cool contrast with the elegant interior. The whole enterprise is modeled not after U.S. Indian restaurants, but after the curry houses of Brick Lane in London, where curries have replaced crumpets as the national meal. The menu, therefore, is lighter on tandooris and khurmas and heavier on kebabs and robust curries.
Brick Lane Curry House offers diners a new and innovative way to experience Indian cuisine. The gorgeous dining room, friendly service and mouthwatering food work together to produce an unforgettable dining experience for every single customer.
Samosas—Crispy pastry stuffed with spiced potatoes and vegetables or minced lamb
Malai, Haryali or Chicken Tikka—Chicken kebabs cooked with your choice of marinade
Methi Salmon—Salmon lightly marinated in Fenugreek, ginger, garlic and mint sauce
Nizams Boti Rolls—Kebabs served in a fresh baked roll with your choice of fillings
Vindaloo—A fiery combination of freshly roasted and ground spices and condiments from Goa cooked with potatoes
Do Piaza—A strongly spiced curry with onion flavor
Great guys, large portions. Added rice even though my meal wouldn't have (as specified on seamless). Also called me on my cell after picking up the order to make sure they packed in some naan (and that they would deliver if they forgot). Needless to say, they had not forgotten the naan in the first place.

Just ordered their lunch special (chicken vindaloo). Very tasty - arrived quickly - and reasonably priced!!

Mediocre chana saag. It was watery / greasy. Darbar is much better, has bigger portions and is cheaper. I would not order from here again.

Awful service! I was waiting over 1 hour for delivery, despite the claim on Seamless that delivery time is 25-40 mins. Rang the restaurant twice to enquire after my food and despite a promise each time to call me back with an update, they did not call me back. Food was cold when it got to me

Food arrived cold and in my opinion was not very good. There are many better options for Indian in the area.

This is one of my top three favorite Indian restaurants. Tandoori salmon is excellent - get it spicy.

This place serves the best Indian food. You will regret ordering from anywhere else after you have ordered from them.

Their goan curry is excellent. Legitimate spice. The "samosa" is a bit of joke, but you get a significant amount of food regardless.

Worst service . Delieverd wrong food and even after calling and informing about this they did not deliver correct food. Do not order from this place.

Awesome Indian food, particularly Madras Chicken and Bhuna Chicken; dal also stands out.

Mattar paneer was tasteless, no gravy. Liked boiled peas and paneers in oil with a little dry spices thrown in. Small piece of bone or wood inside. Worse I've had in any NY restaurant.

I was very excited to try the phaal and it did not disappoint!! I love spicy food and the phaal is every bit as spicy as any other food I have eaten before. The only slight critique would be that relative to other indian restaurants there was not very much meat/potatoes in each dish. I also ordered the vindaloo and both were very delicious but would have left me hungry had i ordered only one dish,

The lunch specials are pretty large and include a big piece of naan. Especially good during the winter and on rainy days.

Some of the best Indian food around. Their lunch special is very affordable and a massive amount of food. Definitely worth it. The tikka masala chicken platter is very good. Food runs spicy so if you dont like spicy go with mild. Medium is very spicy. Very fast delivery.

I ordered the lunch to go with Bhuna shrimp and it came with basmati rice and a side of spinach and chickpeas, and nan. It all tasted good but didn't wow me. The tiny samosa that came with it is a joke. The price ($10) is fair since there's a ton of food but I wish it all had more flavor. Will I order again? Probably but only once I get bored of all the other Indian places that deliver.

This is an awesome restaurant.. love their food, especially the lunch specials are very good value! Vindaloo is very spicy. I like the Chicken Bhuna and Fish Goan.

The food is VERY good, but the prices are VERY high, especially considering the small portions. But give it a try.

Awesome Indian Food, get the Phaal for an experience

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Given they deliver on time and deliver while the food is hot, it's always a good choice.

I didn't care for the combination of spices they used in the chicken tikka masala.

Just received delivery from BCHT. To summarize, PRO: The food was hot when it arrived, and the mango lassi i ordered was good. CON: The serving size is RIDICULOUSLY small for the price. I got the chicken vindaloo, which included a total of six tiny bite-sized pieces of chicken, and two even smaller pieces of potato -- for $17.00. Also, they charged me $2.00 for a can of coke and then left it out of my order, for which i had to call back and then wait another ten minutes to receive. un-bookmarking them now -- there are too many other Indian places to order from to put up with this.

I blinked and the food was there. Delicious as always.

Lasuni gobi (aka Manchurian cauliflower) had sesame seeds & a tangy, vinegary tomato & garlic sauce, which was not oily but soggy when arrived . Chicken tikka masala had a tomato cream sauce & a nice base of fenugreek leaves but M. & I didn't find this curry to be one of their signature sauces. We preferred the madras sauce, which I ordered w/ paneer - the sauce had mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilies, & coconut milk. Every dish was, however, way TOO SALTY and oily for my palate. Their lunch combos also include a "throw-away" yellowish sour & oily curry w/ carrots & tomato, rice w/ peas, a veggie samosa, a piece of overly-doughy naan, and a crispy & peppery flat chip (also pretty salty!). As mentioned, each dish was generously doused with HEAVY SALT content, which is an unnecessary addition, especially since Indian spices can hold their own & provide more than enough depth & seasonings to any Indian dish. M. & I have ordered or eaten here countless times over the years but I cannot on good conscience to my diet and the healthiness of others continue to endorse eating any of Bricklane's heavily-salted dishes nor can I give them a decent rating.

The food is very good but not cheap and the delivery time is ridiculous. Our order tonight took 1 hour and 10 minutes!!!

The curry and raita taste like straight cilantro. The raita consists of mostly cilantro. The rice pudding, raita and curry has the consistency of water. I would prefer all 3 to be much thicker.

ordered the lunch box to go (chicken vindaloo). the samosa was a joke (can you make it any smaller?). the regularly priced samosa is $7? that is crazy. everything was very watered down. i prefer baluchi's. won't be ordering from again.

The food quality and service at this place have declined dramatically since their opening. The lunch specials remain serviceable, but they're not nearly as flavorful as they used to be. Delivery times remain pretty good, but the number of errors in orders has increased to what I consider to be an unacceptable level. There are only so many times one can order lamb and get chicken before losing one's patience. My favorites (used to be) bhuna lamb and madras lamb. If you're going to order from Bricklane, give them a try. Who knows, you might even get what you ordered.

Finally! A decent Indian restaurant that delivers to midtown west!! We are so happy with Bricklane. We have really struggled to find an Indian place that will deliver to us that we like and we finally found it! We ordered the chana tikka masala, saag paneer, samosas and naan and really liked all items. Well-flavored, good amount of spice and appropriate chutneys and sauces included. Both main dishes had the right amount of creaminess that we have found lacking in some of the other restaurants in the area. Just for reference, our favorite Indian restaurants in NYC are Indus Valley near Columbia and Muglai on the UWS and Bricklane is very similar in flavor. Quick delivery too.

Without doubt the best curry house in Manhattan. I've been to their restaurant in downtown several times, and the food at this place in Midtown is equally good.

Stellar Indian food. Great service and fair prices. .. the restaurant is very tiny and cramped, so Seamless Web is definitely the way to go!
